Transforming Ghana: Eamn Call for a New Mindset

In a recent episode of The Hot Seat on NSG News, presenter EAMN candidly pointed out that the current state of Ghana’s systems is largely influenced by the collective mindset of its citizens and civil servants.

EAMN emphasized that it’s not just the responsibility of the government, but of every individual to contribute to the positive transformation of the country and boldly stated that their attitudes and work ethic are significant factors contributing to the brokenness of the systems.

It’s refreshing to note that EAMN also acknowledged instances of efficiency within the system, as he shared a personal experience of swift service at the Driver Vehicle and Licensing Head Office off the Leberation Road on The Hot Seat. In the video he also addressed the issue of mismanagement of Ghana’s abundant natural resources by candidly pointing out that despite the nation’s wealth of resources, poor leadership has hindered their effective utilization. This insight challenges both citizens and leaders to take responsibility for the judicious management of these invaluable assets.

A poignant observation made by EAMN was the tendency to shift blame onto external factors, particularly the West. He urged Ghanaians to reevaluate this mindset, emphasizing that while external influences may play a role, true progress hinges on a collective commitment to overcome challenges.

Ultimately, EAMN’s message serves as a rallying cry for Ghanaians to take ownership of their nation’s destiny. By changing our mentality and mindset
