Glovo to Cease Operations in Ghana by May 10, 2024

Glovo, the multi-category platform that has been serving customers in Ghana since 2021, has announced its decision to cease operations in the country effective May 10, 2024. This move comes as part of the company’s strategic realignment of investment priorities.

In a statement released by Dima Rasnovsky, Regional General Manager of Glovo Africa, the decision was attributed to a reassessment of the company’s investment focus. Rasnovsky expressed gratitude to the dedicated teams, partners, and riders who have contributed to Glovo’s growth in Ghana over the years.

While Glovo will be exiting the Ghanaian market, it remains committed to expanding and strengthening its presence in other African countries.
