One Voice for Africa: Sahel Brothers Need Not Fight Alone – Onsy Nkrumah

If Africa spoke with one bold assertive voice as one united formidable force, then the Sahel brothers would not be fighting on their own, and the Caribbean brothers would not be fighting and campaigning or negotiating tirelessly for reparation compensation for many years on their own, and the DRC would not be fighting on their own today, and the Libyans would not have been smashed down to pieces and divided back to their old tribal-colonial conflicting militias!

If Africa was united, then our Western Saharawi people would not have fallen prey to global neocolonial machinations, while disunited Mother Africa is feeling so weak and helpless to come to their aid to rescue them from being swallowed up in the “Grand Maghreb Construct.”

If Africa was united, would our former president Akufo-Addo have dared on his last day just before handing over power to President Mahama to betray and stab the struggling Saharawi people in the back by ordering his foreign minister Shirley Ayokor-Botchwey to cut Ghana’s old diplomatic ties with them to hand them on a plate? And in whose interest was that last-minute hasty act of betrayal committed? Who prompted him to do such an act in such a hurry on his dying hours in power without debating such an important international issue in parliament and without consulting Ghanaians or minding the public opinion?

What will President Mahama do about that hasty executive presidential decree? Will he go along with it and allow it to stand, or will he revoke it? So far, he has said nothing and done nothing about it!

Many Pan-Africans are asking and patiently waiting to know how he will handle that one.

Africa must unite. Otherwise, millions of Africans and Pan-Africans will continue to suffer, the world over.

Africans must unite, or else many Africans may perish if they continue to passively allow global neocolonial forces to continue to divide and rule to have their own wicked ways at the expense of millions of living Africans and at the expense of generations of yet unborn Africans!

Forward ever, backward never.
