A Nigerian businessman, Ben Peters, was arrested at Aurora Apartments in Kanda close to Ghana’s Jubilee House after allegedly blocking the apartment entrance with his vehicles and armed men. The move reportedly denied residents access to their homes.

The arrest was carried out by National Security in collaboration with the Police and Military, under the supervision of Richard Jakpa and the Deputy Director of Operations at the Presidency, Mustapha Gbande.

Vehicles involved were seized, and several individuals linked to the incident were also picked up. Gbande condemned the act, stating, “No one can come into our country and hold people hostage. It’s illegal, and it won’t be tolerated.”
