NACOC Deputy Director Warns MP John Ntim Fordjour Over Drug Trafficking Allegations

Alexander Twum Barimah, the Deputy Director-General of the Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC), has issued a strong warning to Assin South MP, Rev. John Ntim Fordjour, for his ongoing refusal to cooperate with authorities regarding drug trafficking allegations. Speaking on Eyewitness News on April 8, 2025, Twum Barimah revealed that multiple attempts have been made to invite Fordjour for questioning, but he has consistently failed to respond.

The NACOC official emphasized that the matter has now escalated beyond NACOC’s jurisdiction and is under the authority of national security agencies. He further warned Fordjour that if he continues to ignore the summons, the appropriate security agencies will take action, and any arrest will be carried out by them, not NACOC. Twum Barimah stressed the seriousness of the situation, stating that it is no longer just a NACOC matter, but a national security concern.
