It is believed change or amendment of Ghana’s constitution will help fix the country and transform the country to its full potential where all facets of country, people and institutions are functional for all to see – Corruption, mismanagement of public funds, resources and tribalism becomes things of the past.
It is also a notion that, change of leadership will restore law and order at all levels within our country.
In as much as those concepts are important, it is not entirely true, in that at least since 1992, Ghana have seen changed of leadership through democratic process but no significant change in the affairs of country and people with respect to socioeconomic and infrastructural development – the deficit in this respect is huge.
The Hot Seat of NSG News thinks those changes alone will not produce the desired result – There is more to achieving the Ghana we all desire.
The challenge of Ghana is as a result of what The Hot Seat calls human effect – a mentality and mindset problem when it comes to matters of country and people.
The church and the Christian community do not have challenges they do because the bible (scriptures) is faulty – Rather due to human behavior.
This is similar for Ghana – The challenge of Ghana is not entirely constitutional. The absence of patriotism amongst Ghanaians is a mentality and mindset issue not constitutional.
The Hot Seat is not quite sure of the FixTheCountry red beret guys (Oliver Barker-Vormawor and co) their desires.

The fact is the whole country needs mentality and mindset check. Every Ghanaian should start with him/herself first. There is some level of twisted mentality and mindset when it comes to affairs of country and people.
This is the introduction to FixTheCountry and Make Ghana Work – The hot Seat will run further episodes on this subject matter to throw more light on different aspects that make FixTheCountry a real deal to make Mother Ghana work to its full potential.
To fix the country is to make Ghana work. To make Ghana work is to do things differently. To do things differently is to have a change of mentality and mindset on country and community matters.
Ghana must work, Ghana can work, we want Ghana to work, let’s make Ghana work.
