The Ga Mantse, King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, is reported to be in stable condition following a road accident in the Oti Region in the early hours of Thursday.

According to information gathered, the incident occurred at about 2:00 am while the Ga Mantse was travelling back to Accra from Tamale. He had earlier undertaken a private visit to the Yaa Naa in the Northern Region as part of ongoing engagements among traditional rulers to promote unity and deepen inter traditional relations.

Sources close to the Ga State have indicated that the King was not injured and remains in good health and high spirits. However, his driver sustained serious injuries in the crash and was immediately transported to a medical facility, where he is currently receiving treatment.

Further details about the circumstances surrounding the accident are yet to be officially released. Palace officials are expected to provide updates as information becomes available.
