The FIA has made significant changes to the results of the Chinese Grand Prix. Lewis Hamilton, Charles Leclerc, and Pierre Gasly faced disqualification from the race, altering the outcome dramatically.

Initially, Leclerc secured P5 but was overtaken by Max Verstappen, leading to a final position of P5 for him. Hamilton’s strategy backfired, landing him in sixth place after a risky two-stop approach. Gasly, finishing in P11, narrowly missed out on scoring points.

Subsequently, all three drivers were disqualified due to failing Parc Ferme assessments conducted by Jo Bauer, the FIA’s technical delegate. Gasly and Leclerc’s cars were found to be 1kg underweight, while Hamilton exceeded the permitted limit for plank wear.

This turn of events benefited other drivers, with Lance Stroll and Carlos Sainz moving up from P12 and P13 to secure positions in the top 10 following the disqualifications.
