- 653 candidates had their entire results cancelled for using mobile phones during the exams.
- 908 candidates’ subject results and 158 entire results were withheld pending further investigation.
- Results from 185 schools were withheld over suspected collusion. WAEC expects to conclude these investigations before the end of December 2025.
35 Individuals Implicated
WAEC disclosed that 35 persons, including 19 teachers, were implicated in actions that compromised the integrity of the examination.
- All 19 teachers have already been prosecuted and convicted, receiving either fines or custodial sentences.
- The remaining 16 individuals are yet to be presented to the courts by the police.
The Council added that the list of affected teachers will be submitted to the Director-General of the Ghana Education Service (GES) for administrative and disciplinary action.
