National Service Registration Begins Today, October 8; Service Starts November 3
The National Service Authority (NSA) has announced the start of online registration for the 2025/2026 service year, beginning today, Wednesday, October 8, 2025. The registration window will remain open until Wednesday, October 15, 2025.
The new registration exercise follows a directive from President John Mahama after a Technical and Forensic Audit uncovered flaws in the previous Central Service Management Platform (CSMP). The audit revealed weaknesses in data integrity and verification processes, prompting the development of a more secure and transparent digital system.
According to the Authority, all registrations completed in June 2025 have been invalidated due to discrepancies in applicants’ age and identity records. As a result, all prospective service personnel are required to re-register using the new platform.
The NSA assured that those who legitimately registered during the June exercise will have their service fees refunded. “All previous registrations from June 2025 have been declared null and void. Every prospective service personnel must re-register on the new platform,” the statement reiterated.
All assigned personnel are expected to report to their designated service stations on Saturday, November 1, 2025, ahead of the official start of the service year on Monday, November 3, 2025.
