Ghana Welcomes London Mayor, Strengthens Trade Ties

President Mahama shared details of his ambitious 24-Hour Economy plan, inspired by London’s round-the-clock productivity, aimed at creating jobs and empowering Ghanaian youth. Both leaders also explored ways to deepen ties between Accra and London, with Mahama expressing interest in learning from the UK capital’s urban development and infrastructure expertise.
Mayor Khan commended President Mahama on his re-election and acknowledged the significant contributions of the Ghanaian diaspora in London. The visit underscores Ghana’s open-door approach to global partnerships and economic growth.
