Ghanaians Can Now Travel to Morocco Visas free – Ablakwa

Ghanaian citizens no longer need traditional visas to travel to Morocco. This new arrangement follows a bilateral agreement between the two nations, as revealed by Ghana’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, in a recent Facebook post.

The new policy takes immediate effect, replacing the previous visa system with a simplified online travel authorisation process. Travelers can now obtain this authorisation within 24 hours, removing the need for embassy visits or appointments and significantly easing travel between Ghana and Morocco.

“This is one of the key agreements concluded yesterday with Morocco’s Foreign Minister, H.E. Nasser Bourita, during my two-day working visit,” Ablakwa noted.

He emphasized the importance of unity across the continent, stating, “The borders in Africa must not be allowed to divide us they can be bridges of connectivity.”
