MD Nunekpeku Takes Bold Stand Against Corruption at TDC Ghana Limited

The Managing Director of Tema Development Company (TDC) Ghana Limited, Courage Kafui
Nunekpke, has taken a bold step in addressing concerning issues within the company. During
staff briefing on 5th April 2025, he revealed the need for an investigation into past activities,
highlighting discrepancies across various departments.
Notably, an IT contract worth $1 million was awarded but not fulfilled, prompting a call for
intervention by the Economic and Organized Crime Office (EOCO).
Additionally, pending investigations into other undisclosed matters and upcoming property
audits signify the new MD’s commitment to transparency and accountability at TDC.
Mr. Nunekpke emphasized the importance of staff cooperation and integrity, urging individuals

responsible asset management, opting for practical purchases like vans and machinery over
luxury vehicles for management.

against fraudulent practices, such as the exorbitant invoice for washing curtains. His call for
vigilance and adherence to protocols points to Mr Nunekpeku’s dedication to reform TDC into
an efficient institution.
In alignment with the directive from President John Mahama, the MD aims for transformation
and sustainability, with a clear message: accountability is paramount for the company’s success.
His desire is TDC unity, integrity, and safeguard TDC’s future together.
